Beautiful Houses: Camperdown in Sydney

This week we present you the beautiful Camperdown house.

The Camperdown house is a project by Carter Williamson Architects, a firm which believes that architecture should make our lives better. The Camperdown house clients wanted their new home to capture something of the wistful adage "a man's home is his castle". On a tight budget, within a restricted, urban site the clients commissioned a refuge; a stronghold of family life and quiet living. The tight budget, and a brief that necessitated robust materials, stimulated a rich dialogue resulting in the creative use of strong, inexpensive materials and simple yet elegant construction details. The spaces, like the materials in this home are efficient.

This house is beautiful and also looks very cozy, looks as a perfect place for a family on a tight budget. The wide spaces, the color and materials combination, everything was really well planed and executed. Certainly a house I wouldn't mind living. ;)

I don't know exactly what makes a artist most admirable: if is his artwork or the efforts and risks he takes to realize it. Well, Blu probably has this two caracteristics, making giant artworks on high buildings, walls and big structures around the globe. They may be beatiful and well done, however probably the main purpose of his paintings it's to share a strong opinion about some delicated issue like polution, capitalism, poverty, war or global warming.

His dedication Is really impressive , since it's not that simple to make these colossal artworks and even to express opinions in this way. If you got interested in his works, please access his website to get in touch with some more content.

Amazing Double-Exposure Photography

I was taking a look at Abduzeedo searching for something that would be a nice, fresh new thing to post about. I guess we've never seen double exposure photos here, and since it's an awesome style I just had to do it.

I took the time to look for original double exposure photos, taken on film, and it was really worth it because I got to find beautiful examples of it. These were taken by some amazing photographers, and I really recommend you to check out their portfolio for much more great pictures (just click on each picture).
