Worldwide Photography is a series of posts where every week we're going to show a city or location around the globe bringing the coolest photography samples of it. Today feature: Galapagos Islands.

The Galapagos Islands have one of the most impressive fauna on earth and, of course, beautiful landscapes, sunny beaches and that tropical feeling all around. Located on the Pacific ocean, the Galapagos Island consist of 15 main islands, 3 smaller islands, and 107 rocks.

First Series

I was approached by Nike to create 5 Illustrations for their store in collaboration with Footlocker called House of Hoops, at Cherry Hill in New Jersey.

Second Series

House of Hoops is a store created by Nike and Footlocker with outlets all across America. I completed a large number of illustrations to be used throughout their stores. Above is just a selection of images as I created over 30 in total.

New & Inspiring Artworks from João Oliveira

A while back we showcased an Interview with João Oliveira, a portuguese graphic designer and illustrator based on Porto, Portugal. João has been working in various creative fields of graphic, print, editorial, web and motion design and he has some new and inspiring artworks that we would like to share with you. Born in 1986 João is currently taking a degree in Communication Design at Escola Superior de Artes e Design (ESAD) and working as a freelancer.

With a strong style that mixes colors, typography, nice shapes and some hand drawn lines, João has worked with clients from various industries such as magazines, record labels, television and others. Video Inspiration #4: Pomp&Clout

Video Inspiration is a weekly(ish) post where we either feature a specific artist or show a sort of "best of" list of videos we've discovered during the week. Everything here may not be brand new, but we felt it worth sharing with the community. If you have good finds that you'd like to share, please feel free to send your links to abduzeedo@abduzeedo.com with "video inspiration" in the subject line.

This week I'm featuring some videos from Pomp&Clout, a "multidisciplinary design/direction outfit based in Brooklyn and run by Ryan Staake."

Besides having a really fun and unique visual style, I love how they use old analogue footage or run new footage through VCRs for the same effect.
